Are you a dog or cat person?

I love dog's and cat's. But I guess I am more of a cat person, I got my first cat when I was 4 years old. I have never had a dog before, but I have always wanted one.

Simba is very handsome!

I'm allergic to both, so I can't be either.

However, we spent the Holidays with my in-laws and they have a cat. I was on the floor trying to play with Mudge. I paid for it later.

I love how friendly dogs are though. They're so sweet, but that's the problem. Doggie kisses give me hives.....

Definitely a dog person. We have two, a yorkie (maggie) and a Corgi (milo). They were our babies before DS...now we refer to them as his big brother and sister.

Another dog-lover here. In fact, we just got another dog the Saturday after Christmas, so now we're a two-dog family for the first time ever. And I'm enjoying it sooooo much!!! Both of our dogs came from the Animal Rescue League and are the sweetest things.

If I could have my way, I'd probably have a house full of animals. I just can't resist them.

Our dog came from the animal shelter when we were just going to go LOOK to see what they had. Well she melted our hearts and went home with us that day.

Our kitty was hobbling around the church parking lot behind us. Apparently someone just dropped her off because she had a bad back leg. Well all she needed was some TLC. We haven't even had her 2 months yet, but you would never know that she could barely walk when I found her. You wouldn't know she was just a sack of bones then either. Now she's getting a little "fluffy".

Another Definate cat person here. It's not that I don't like dogs, but I couldn't imagine myself having one for a pet. Too big, I guess. Cats are great though- perfect size, perfect attitude, and smart.

Dog person! Always had dogs growing up. Can't live without dog slobber.

I am working on DH to get a cat, too. (Cause Simba is just soooo handsome!) We can't have another dog due to condo rules and Duncan gets along well with cats. This may take me longer than the year it took to get Duncan. lol

Total DOG person! I have 4 doggies and they are all my babies! I grew up with dogs as my dad is SEVERELY allergic to cats (5 days in the ICU allergic!). My ds is also allergic to them and I don't want to find out how severely! I do like cats, I just don't have any experience with them.

I do find Simba to be a very handsome cat though!
