Cat person married to a dog person here! Makes for an interesting household at times! Currently we have one cat who predates my husband and one dog who predates DDs.
Five months after we got married, we moved from Idaho to Florida. If driving cross country wasn't ehough to test a new marriage, when we got to our new house, DH noticed that our landlords (moving out of the house) had a dog and the back patio was equipped with a doggie door. So he talked me into getting a dog.
Now we have two DDs, and both the cat and dog have fallen down the food chain a bit. Although the dog and DD2 are best friends! Maybe it has something to do with DD2 being a "messy" eater so there are usually lots of tidbits on the floor! The cat, on the other hand, tolerates the dog and humans in her house!
And yes, Simba is handsome, but I have to say that my Symba (female and named before Lion King) is beautiful!
