Are you a bone marrow donor?

I signed up a long time ago when they were having a bone marrow drive in my area (years and years ago). I have never been called to donate, but if they found someone I could help I would do it in a heartbeat.
I just wonder if a lot of people are or not.

I was on the registry but have now aged out. I'm sorry I was never called.

PLEASE encourage people to do this. I can't believe that I had to guilt my sister into registering.

I would love to be but they wont take me with my history of post blood donation seizures.

My best friend had leukemia when she was in high school and survived due to the generosity of a donor from the Bone Marrow Registry. I would love to register, but I don't think I can. I was recently diagnosed with prediabetes, and am seeing a doctor at the end of the month because based on my readings I believe that I have full blown diabetes. I don't know that they would accept my bone marrow.

if you are on any diabetic medication, they will not accept your marrow. this is the reason that I had to take myself the registry off a few years ago.

I am a bone marrow donor. I registered some years back. I am unable to be a blood donor though.

I have been registered for a while. Never called. I wouldn't hesitate to donate if I were to ever match someone.
