Hi. been having problems with our electricity. went out a couple of times last night. the whole area around us went pitch black. that sure was a scarey sight. it wasn't raining hard just sprinkling. Tomorrow they talking about big storms rolling through. wonder what will happen then?

Susan, maybe someone ran into a transformer, or whatever it's called. The roads which were only sprinkled on can sure make them slick and someone could have lost control of their car. We've had years when we seemed to lose our power all the time due to storms, but this last year we didn't much. Of course not--we finally bought a generator!

the people next door bought a generator also cause our homes are on a hill. they are on the bottom. their basement always gets flooded when there is a heavy rain. it is a good idea to have one.

we have a crawl space. have to leave a little water down there for my gator.

generator keeps the sump pump running. without our sump pump the basement or crawl space would flood.

OK, that was the leap I was going to take, but I just wanted to make sure that's where you were going... You know, sometimes parts just get edited out and for those without sump pumps they might not quite make that leap!

It all started when my ds3 peed in my bed at 3 am.. Why couldn't he have peed in his own bed?? Geez. Do you think my dh could help me change the sheets? Nooo, tells me to just throw a towel on it and go back to sleep. The love. I need some coffee.
