I actually prefer to open windows
I am always cold

but I can't stand to lie in bed and sweat, either
my old house, no AC
hell on earth

If we were to open windows we might have unwanted "visitors" in the house, animals included.
How come you don't have AC?

my school built in 50's
frivolous and unnecessary at that time

actually, my kids school is just 7 years old
and it does not have AC either!
and it is three stories

my school is all one floor

I have eight windows
all open
but we get the AM sun, too
and the room heats up fast
