Was40, when you grow up, your thinking changes a bit I guess. Cuz when you told me the room got quiet I was thinking you were gonna say it erupted in laughter as I upon hearing it.

well, not third and fourth graders
they know someone is gonna get in trouble
and they don't want to miss a bit of that
so they go silent

the same thing happens if a teacher
starts screaming in the hall
they class quiets so they can hear what is being yelled
and who is getting yelled at


also, they all want to use the hall pass
to SEE who is in trouble
