Thanks to everyone who has been reading so far! :goodvibes

Today is 56 days!!

Yesterday I managed to get an AP rate for the Coronado Springs portion of our stay and saved $168! Considering its only a 3 night reservation that's pretty substantial!

I'm also thankful that I had a PIN code for the WL reservation because all that was available with the AP was Courtyard Bunk Bed and the savings was only 20%.

Woohoo! 55 days!

My mom and I are taking a little shopping trip to Buffalo on monday. This way we can buy lots of Bath and Body Works without worrying about baggage weight for flights. Plus it means I can start buying some summer clothes for Disney! I've lost about 20lbs since last summer so most things are falling off me and are too baggy.

Here are some more pictures! (I've got TONS more where these came from :goodvibes )

I made the itinerary cards using a Powerpoint style program. I searched for clipart in google and then copied and pasted them. Its hard to explain exactly, but just play around and you'll figure it out :)

49 days to go!!

:dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :worship: :worship: :worship:

Lots has been going on since my last update. I've been promoted at work (woohoo!) which means more hours (make the weeks go faster) and more money (for disney lol). I also went to Buffalo with my mom this past weekend. Here's a mini TR

Monday June 23rd

We left our house at about 10:30am, stopped at Starbucks and then Tim Hortons and were on our way. As we neared the border we decided to use the Rainbow Bridge so that we could see Niagara Falls as we went.

ry%3D320

ry%3D320

Recently our family applied for NEXUS passes. Essentially they give you "Trusted Traveller" status and enable you to cross the border faster. No waiting in line, no need for a passport etc. So we used the NEXUS lane at the Rainbow Bridge and were over in Buffalo in no time.

ry%3D320

We stayed at a nice Holiday Inn Express by the Buffalo Airport. It was so odd to be at that hotel and NOT be going to Florida. WE always stay here when flying out of Buffalo.

We arrived around 12:30 and our room was ready. It was clean and bright, a basic Holiday Inn Express room.

ry%3D320

After getting our bags into the room, we were off to the Walden Galleria!

ry%3D320

I took this picture as we turned out of the hotel parking lot. I wanted to just run into the airport and hop the next flight to Orlando!

As I mentioned in the previous post, I work at Best Buy....so where did we park?...

ry%3D320

LOL! I just cant get away from this place :faint:

We actually parked here because this is the closest entrance to Bath & Body Works!

ry%3D320

AND The Apple Store!

ry%3D320

We spent the afternoon wandering from store to store and ended up with lots of clothes and bath and body works bags! We zipped around to the other side of the mall and decided to go to dinner at...

48 days to go!!

Just a very quick update today. I'm in such a HYPER Disney mood today (mainly because I'm going to see Wall-E this afternoon!) I'm listening to Live365 and my heart is racing when i think of walking down Main Street or around World Showcase.

Do you guys have Disney Traditions?

I have SOOOO many LOL

- when i enter a Disney Resort i stop and inhale the "Disney Smell"
- as soon as I get to my room the Top 7 and WDW today channels are turned on
- Cry as I walk down Main Street
- Cry as I see Illuminations for the first time that trip
- Cry (and start planning another trip if we haven't already) as you watch Illuminations the last night of the trip
- We always go to Downtown Disney our first night
- MUST do Magic Kingdom rope drop
- Lunch at the Liberty Tree Tavern on our first visit to MK each trip
- Dole Whips on EVERY visit to MK
- MUST take the monorail at least once a trip
- California Grill a minimum of 2 times per trip
- Rope drop at Typhoon Lagoon
- Nearly every night at Epcot
- Get a "Make your own" something from Goofy's
- Try as many specialty drinks as possible (this is a reasonably new one as I'm only 23 LOL....so say the last 2 years)

I know there are more lol. What are some of your WDW traditions?

Here are a list of some of my Disney traditions.

1. First full day of the trip must be at Magic Kingdom (at least in the morning)
2. Must eat at California Grill at least once
3. Kona for breakfast
4. Liberty Tree Tavern for Lunch (at least once)
5. Strawberry margarita at the Mexico Pavilion
6. Last night spent at Epcot, with Le Cellier for Dinner

Yes, most of my traditions are food oriented. ::yes::

Hehe, if i were to list all my food oriented traditions it'd make up another entire thread :P

- cheese soup at Le Cellier
- pretzel bread at Le Cellier
- lime margarita from mexico
- champagne from france
- lapu lapu from polynesian
- dole whip from aloha isle
- goofy's candy co - rice crispy dipped in milk chocolate, coated in butterfinger and drizzled with caramel
- shrimp tempura roll from cali grill
- pork tenderloin with goat cheese polenta from Cali Grill
- pilgrim's feast from LTT
- ribs and corn muffin from flame tree bbq
- frozen lemonade from animal kingdom
- french onion soup from chefs de france
- cherry coke - anywhere! lol

see...way too many :P

44 days to go!!

   :yay: :yay: :yay: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I'm so happy its July because that means I'm going to Disney NEXT MONTH!

I've been waiting to show off my October 2006 Party for the Senses pictures and decided that today was the day!

For those that have never heard of the Party for the Senses I'll give a little overview.

The Party for the Senses is a part of Epcot's International Food & Wine Festival. It costs $135/person (this price goes up every year lol) and occurs every Saturday night from 6:30pm till 9pm. The pavilion is set up with various tables (however the slight flaw is that there aren't enough tables for every person attending the party) Banners of colour hang from the ceilings over the food and wine stations. These serve the purpose of identifying the location of food and wine stations. Your menu is broken down into sections such as "Where Green is Grand". There are approximately 25 food tasting booths and about 70 wine tastings.

The doors open at 6pm and allow the guests into the foyer of World Showplace. At 6:30 it opens fully and there is a slightly mad rush to get to the tables. The one flaw with the party is that there are not enough tables to seat everyone, so if you dont get there early you wont get a table.

Now, on with the pictures!

Awning at the World Showplace entrance.
