I know some of you are still waiting to hear from us on this and I am sorry.
We ran into huge issues with Disney groups. We finally got all the specifics of the contract worked out about 2 weeks ago and was about to pay a huge deposit when I looked at the contract and it said we had 10 days to sell our entire allottment or lose our deposit.
Of course I knew that wasn't enough time so back to the drawing board we went.
In the meantime things are crazy here (too many personal issues to mention, and now 2011 cruises were just announced) so I haven't had time to work on the contract anymore with Disney.
If I can find a few hours one day next week I will work on this again.
In the meantime I suggest that if you definately are planning on doing the marathon to book a room to make sure you have it.
If you book just a room and not a package you have until 5 days before arrival to cancel and get your money back - this way if we are able to pull off some group space you can cancel and book into our group if you want. At least you would know you had a room.
Again, I am very sorry about this.
I doubt we will be working with Disney groups much in the future - just too frustrating.

P.S. I want to make sure you all know Kathy has nothing to do with the delays. She worked very hard to try to get the contract earlier but she ran into huge road blocks. This last road block is my fault.
I was just wondering. I am getting back into walking/running and wanted to see if those of us that were interested could still sign up for the half?

When DAP fell through...I decided I must take a solo trip...and got the marathon fever....
So...
Since this didn't work out...I am going to join Team in Training and see if can train and raise the money to go with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Congratulations for signing up for Team in Training. They are a great charity, and their runners look like they are having so much fun during the WDW Marathon. Maybe I'll see you down there for the marathon weekend...![]()
