  The weather had be looking sooo good, nice warm but now it looks like its going to be cold :cold: and possibly rain several days :umbrella: I was hoping the kids could swim and wear shorts & t shirts. Is it a temporary cold front?? Or will it be cold our whole trip. We leave Sat for 2 weeks.

firstly, you are NOT going to freeze lol...this is very nice weather...now in regards to swimming? meh...I dont consider it pool weather but to each his/her own...I love it when Im at DL when its in the 60's and 70's...now the rain...I wouldnt worry too much about that...its very common to have it rain overnight and then be ok next morning...also, my trip in Feb said for 2 weeks prior it would be raining and it never did until the last night I was there and it didnt start until like 11pm...I wouldnt worry about it though...tshirts is definite and they may be able to wear shorts during the day...but make sure you bring lightweight jackets and jeans or capris too...dont worry about the weather...have fun:banana:

Thanks Lynn! The pools look so awesome at the DLH and GC that I know the boys are going to want to swim. If they could swim at lunch time they will be happy campers. I'll definately bring layers. I'm really looking forward to going to Walt's Place.
We just had 6 inches of pure ice. My car was iced into my driveway saturday my neighbor brought his tractor to dig us out.

We went swimming during a December trip and even swam in the ocean at Laguna Beach.

Since you are from New York, I am sure 70 degrees will feel like a heat wave to you! ;)

We have went in just about every month you can imagine, and have never had it be too cold to swim. Now, that doesnt mean that it was warm enough to lounge next to the pool and lay in the sun to get dry, but warm enought to swim.

my problem is not being IN the water...its getting out of the water and walking to my room...I cant handle being that frozen:rolleyes: i know i know...im a wimp:rolleyes1

Last week, it was insanely hot. my room would hit 80-85.

This week, its freeezing... :\

weird weather pattern.
