Hi everyone! :goodvibes

I am so happy, I just finished booking all of our ADR's today for our September trip and actually got everything I wanted!

We booked a few places that we ate last year and :lovestruc loved:

Planet Hollywood
Crystal Palace
Boma’s
50’s Prime Time Café

We also booked some new places, several that I tried to get ADR's for last year and could not. They are:

Cinderella’s Castle Breakfast
Tony’s Town Square Dinner
50’s Prime Time Café’ Dinner
Whispering Canyon Café Dinner
Sci-Fi Drive In
Chef Mickey’s Breakfast
La Cellier Dinner
1900 Park Fare Character Dinner

We know that we loved the ones we ate at previously and are going back to, however, can anyone offer us pointers (must try, do not get, cancel the ADR ASAP, it has the best ____ (fill in the blank) make sure to try it, and so on) on our list of new places? Are there any places listed you love? Always go to? Avoid like the plague? Also, is breakfast at Cinderella's Castle really worth 2 TS credits? I just wanted to see the inside of the Castle (more than the walking through area, that is why I chose it)!

If there is a place you do not particularly like, please feel free to offer up an alternate TS location that you love!

I appreciate any information/insight that you would like to share! :flower3:

:thanks: Kimberly

Cinderella’s Castle Breakfast - We don't do it every trip (we pay OOP) but we really enjoy it and are doing it this May for lunch
Tony’s Town Square Dinner - must do for us - we've always had great meals and service here
50’s Prime Time Café’ Dinner - we like it here, not doing it this trip though
Whispering Canyon Café Dinner - not our cup of tea
Sci-Fi Drive In - love it for lunch - can't beat the atmosphere
Chef Mickey’s Breakfast - only have done for breakfast, it was fun and we enjoyed it
La Cellier Dinner - our absolute favorite!
1900 Park Fare Character Dinner - very nice and different choices for a buffet

Looks like you've got really great ones!

Here are my thoughts...

Cinderella’s Castle Breakfast - Never been there but know friends that love it. (I have boys...;) )
Tony’s Town Square Dinner - Never been
50’s Prime Time Café’ Dinner - We enjoyed very much. Food and atmosphere both good.
Whispering Canyon Café Dinner - Enjoyed the food and fun
Sci-Fi Drive In - Been twice and the food was not good either time, won't return.
Chef Mickey’s Breakfast - Good character interaction and pretty good for breakfast food.
Le Cellier Dinner - Love this place and return at least once each trip!!!
1900 Park Fare Character Dinner - Never been

One of our favorites is Kona Cafe for dinner or breakfast. Love the selections and the food is always fresh and delicious!!!

Cinderella’s Castle Breakfast - excellent if you have little girls and would be worth the two credits if you do.
50’s Prime Time Café’ Dinner - love the atmosphere, food is pretty good
Whispering Canyon Café Dinner - food is really good, atmosphere not for shy and reserved folks but can be a lot of fun
Sci-Fi Drive In - very cool place, food is so-so
Chef Mickey’s Breakfast - again, with little ones it is great but the food isn't as good as other buffets, particular Crystal Palace
La Cellier Dinner - we have not been there but I have only heard good things about this place
1900 Park Fare Character Dinner - decent buffet

for us

Cinderella’s Castle Breakfast - enjoyed this, even DS who was 8. No necessarily the best food I have had but the atmosphere is great!

Tony’s Town Square Dinner - this has been hit & miss for us, once very good, once just awful. We are trying lunch this year

50’s Prime Time Café’ Dinner - LOVE this one!

Whispering Canyon Café Dinner - another one that missed for us. We did enjoy breakfast but didn't have the best service at dinner

Sci-Fi Drive In - love this one for lunch, never had dinner

Chef Mickey’s Breakfast - a must do!

La Cellier Dinner - our favorite! Mushroom Filet & Cheddar Cheese Soup!

1900 Park Fare Character Dinner - haven't done this one, trying breakfast nex trip!

I think you have made good selections. As others have said, read these boards and every restaurant has the lovers and the haters. It is best to try it & see how you feel. That is what we are doing this trip.

The Chili at SciFi is great. Skillets at WCC are also excellent. Loved all the soups at Boma. LeCellier the Cheddar Cheese Soup and the Free Range Chicken were delicious.

Cinderella’s Castle Breakfast-haven't done this one
Tony’s Town Square Dinner- it was pretty good, great to go to when there is a parade and you can sit on the patio and watch it, that is awesome, we watch the electric light parade from here
50’s Prime Time Café’ Dinner-going to for the first time
Whispering Canyon Café Dinner-i got sick and missed this one :(
Sci-Fi Drive In-not our interests
Chef Mickey’s Breakfast- pretty good
La Cellier Dinner- Our Favorite! I would pay OOP for the cheese soup appy, it is to die for! just get one and split just to try! Also the Mushroom Filet is so amazing, it is my favorite we eat here everytime
1900 Park Fare Character Dinner- Different buffet items and great character interaction, though honestly if you are planning on doing the Cinderella Castle Breakfast, maybe switch this one to something else you are thinking would be great to do, we have heard that people wish they had saved one for another trip and tried somewhere else.

I would rec. the garden grill in Epcot, it has great food as well as characters. You also get to see different character like chip and dale, as well as mickey and the gang. Or maybe even Teppan Edo in Japan, they have a great show to keep kids entertained, and also good kids choices, and also gives you something different as well hope this helps

Thanks Dis "pals"... you are all so awesome! I appreciate the input and your personal stories! :goodvibes

One that we really liked was Coral Reef in Epcot. We enjoyed the meal and the atmosphere with the aquarium was very unique. We actually had a well deserved lunch there after a full morning at MK.

Then you've assured yourself of a Happy Birthday. Now all you have to do is arrange a Diver sign for yourself! :worship: It's your birthday :dance3:

look like awesome ADR's! congrats on the Le Celier and the Castle! :) We're finally eating at Le Celier in May too.

We weren't huge fans of Tonys but I hear a lot of people still like it. Definitely hit or miss!

Tony’s Town Square Dinner- had the spaghetti... it was just alright to me

OOPS ~ forgot Coral Reef Dinner

Hi! On my OP I forgot to add Coral Reef! We are actually going on my birthday!pixiedust:

Again, I appreciate any insight you have at these places (good or bad) and any pointers on food we must not (or must) miss! :goodvibes We tend to be "steak or chicken breast people", not much for seafood, DH is not picky at all, DS & I can be a little picky, not to bad!

On our Cinderella's Castle breakfast, is it served family style? I know it does take two TS, and that it does include a free picture, and heard that (even with the loss of the gratuity on the DDP) the tip is included (there only). Can that really be true? Is the Castle beautiful to eat in? Is it worth 2 TS as a breakfast? We are 2 adults (DH and myself) and a 17 year old (they do not know I have reserved this... it was a "mom thing")!

A very big THANK YOU to those of you that replied already, and thanks in advance to those that will! :flower3:

Sci-Fi Drive In--Skip it
Chef Mickey’s Breakfast--Love the place, but have only had dinner there

My experiences -

Planet Hollywood - never been
Crystal Palace - The buffet is always good and seeing the Pooh characters makes it a real plus
Boma’s - A must do for us on every trip - everything is so good. Two Saturday's ago (3/15) they had carved prime rib and ribs.
50’s Prime Time Café - We have had some wonderful meals and one miss there. We always do lunch. I love the pot roast.
Cinderella’s Castle Breakfast - I have done this before all the changes. I think everyone should do it once.
Tony’s Town Square Dinner - never been
Whispering Canyon Café Dinner - We had a wonderful meal last week. We all had the skillet and AYCD milkshakes.
Sci-Fi Drive In - In 2001 we had what was probably our worst meal on Disney property there - I think was a fluke - many report enjoy the burgers for lunch - can't bring myself to go back
Chef Mickey’s Breakfast - This is a lot of fun. I remember the breakfast pizza
La Cellier Dinner - Always had a good meal. The filet and Cheddar cheese soup. Congrats on this ADR - they have become as hard as the Castle
1900 Park Fare Character Dinner - We love their buffet but have not been since the step-sisters replaced the mice a year ago. The strawberry soup and pasta station are in my memory.
Coral Reef - we had lunch there last Friday. DD enjoyed the NY strip steak. They are making some menu changes - the seafood is really the star of their menu (I recommend the Mahi-Mahi)

well you know you are doing these but I will put my 2 cents in:

Planet Hollywood- never been in WDW but have been to others- it's ok
Crystal Palace- Love this for breakfast
Boma’s- YUM YUM a must do
50’s Prime Time Café- haven't tried yet

Cinderella’s Castle Breakfast- I think it is a unique experience and so pretty. Everyone should try it at least once.
Tony’s Town Square Dinner- We had an awesome dinner here last summer- the NY strip was suprisingly good
50’s Prime Time Café’ Dinner- never tried
Whispering Canyon Café Dinner- It was alot of fun
Sci-Fi Drive In- I like the atmosphere but would perfer this for lunch
Chef Mickey’s Breakfast- trying this for the first time in June, to me this is another thing everyone should try once- classic Disney. Classic characters in the classic wdw resort!
La Cellier Dinner- soooo good. One of my favorites. I love the filet! If you want to splurge try the Inniskilin ice wine!
1900 Park Fare Character Dinner- I thought this was fun. I thought Crystal palace was a lot better and if you are doing CRT as well maybe you should consider something else atmosphere wise? jmo

well it looks like you have alot of great places lined up. Enjoy!
