My Itinerary for dining is as follows am wondering your thoughts on if these are good restaurants and character dinners. Also if you can give me an idea of how much $$$ all of these will end up costing me. thanks.

Am staying at Silver Lake Resort right near Animal Kingdom though technically off property - not part of the Disney extra magic hours or magical express etc. perks.

Arrive early PM Orlando Rent Car etc.

Pool @ hotel or maybe Typhoon lagoon or something PM???
1st Night - BOMA - Flavors of Africa Dinner

ANIMAL KINGDOM DAY #2 - APRIL 18th
FAST PASS EVEREST, ride 2-3 x then single rider line, then Kilimanjaro Safari.

2nd morning - BOMA Flavors of Africa B-fast
2nd evening - Garden Grove @ Swan - Char Dinner Timon/Rafiki

SHUTTLE LAUNCH DAY - EXPLORE NORTH MERRITT ISLAND AND TITUSVILLE
ISLAND RIVER QUEEN PADDLEBOAT SHUTTLE LAUNCH NIGHT LAUNCH TOUR
3rd morning- Nothing since I'm going to Kennedy Space Center to see the shuttle launch April 19th.

HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS ---DAY 4
FAST PASS TOY STORY 3 1st

4th morning - April 20th - Diet Shake for b-fast no b-fast meal
Get to park 30 min before open???? or earlier???

4th evening- April 20th - Fantasmic Dinner package @ Mamma Melrose

Would it be good time to ride Tower of terror during the 8pm fantasmic if I go see the 10pm fantasmic? Do I have the option of which fantasmic show I go see if I have the Fantasmic Dinner package? It says there's one show @ 8 and one at 10pm??? I was thinking it might be a good idea to ride the Tower of terror during the 8pm show since a lot of folks will be watching Fantasmic?? And doing the 10pm show?? since a lot of younger kids will be tired by then and the parents probably heading back.

6th Morning - April 22nd - Cape May Cafe Char breakfast

THEN EPCOT
Is it better to fast pass Soarin or Test Track first?
I will be a single rider so should I just go to Test track first, and do single rider, or run to soarin first, get a fast pass then get on Test track as single rider? or go to Test Track first, ride a few times then get to Soarin and get a fast pass??

DINNER ROSE AND CROWN PUB 6:15pm - explore World Showcase
ILLUMINATIONS @ 9PM Where is the best spot to watch illuminations??
6th evening - Rose and Crown Pub - (Fish and chips?) Britain Epcot

MAGIC KINGDOM DAY 7th MORNING -
TUSKER HOUSE CHAR BREAKFAST @ AK - Keep in mind my resort (Silver Lake Resort) is right next to ANimal kIngdom

Then Magic Kingdom after dinner. - Should I fast pass Splash Mountain first, space mountain? or Go to splash mountain first ride it a couple times, ride big thunder mountain, do the haunted mansion and then run over to space mountain for a fast pass or run to space mountain first, ride a couple times, then run over to Splash mountain for fast pass???

EVENING LIBERTY TREE TAVERN DINNER -

LAST DAY - FLIGHT DAY BACK TO BOSTON

EARLY BREAKFAST 8:25 AM @ ANIMAL KINGDOM LODGE, CHECK OUT

EITHER DO SOMETHING IN THE MORNING IN ORLANDO
LIKE GATORLAND OR SOMETHING OR RELAX AT THE POOL FOR AN HOUR OR TWO THEN HEAD TO AIRPORT, TURN IN RENTAL CAR ETC

How much time on April Vacation week should I allow at the airport for turning in rental car and checking in/security etc? How early should I get there?


I'd like to know what you think of this itinerary for the dinners/breakfasts, and if you know what each of those will cost, and what the total cost would be, it would be most helpful.

Any other suggestions/info and answers to my questions Would be appreciated

If you like to try different foods, you will enjoy Boma. Never been to any of the other spots that you mentioned although I am hoping to hit a few on the next trip.

I would NOT go to Boma for dinner.

We did not like it at all.

The spices they use on the foods are all sweet in nature. Cinnamon, vanilla and fruit flavors. These are used in all the foods, including the meats. I have never found a piece of beef I didn't like until Boma. It tasted like I had a mouth full of cinnamon as I was eating the sirloin. It wasn't good.
Even the soups are sweet.
We couldn't get over the taste of eating a holiday dessert for dinner.

We left unsatisfied and within an hour were very hungry.

If you like sweet flavors on your entrees and sides you may love it....otherwise you won't.
