are these eating places kid friendly??

after many hours reading/searching i have come up with a list of places to eat,
annettes dinner, that is going to be our 1st night's meal

cafe mickey

buffalo bills we have already booked that one

walts??? don't know if its really kiddy friendly

now stuck for the last night, but may try annettes again.

now for lunch i think we will play that by ear, but the cowboy cookout will suit jake fine and of course mac'ds
does anyone know of places where kids eat free, is it worth it or are the adults prices inflated to make up for the kids eat free places??

We took dd when she was 3 to walts though I would have to say that if your kids are fussy eaters then they is not much choice on the Kids menu. Just Chicken or Fish, they do come with chips though. There is no Chicken nuggets, burgers etc. The themeing is more adult compared to other restaurants, and the atmosphere is very claim.
My daughter was fine here, however she had some key rings characters to keep her enter tainted and sat down at the table nicely.

Have never been when it is child places free, but I thought you still had to pay in restaurant.

We've been in all your choices and DD7, DS5 and DD3 all found plently they liked and enjoyed each restaurant for different reasons.
At a push Walt's was probably the least favourite.

Hi Jane,
I think the Kids eat Free only applies when booking things like the BB show and Character breakfasts and with that they only qualify for one free breakfast - I had to pay the usual prices for the second day's booking I made.
Plaza Gardens is very nice we've eaten there twice - it's a fixed price buffet with a big selection.

Every restaurant at DLP where I have been, seemed very kiddy-friendly to me. They have colouring pages, special desserts, special menus, ...

Just don't let your kids "run wild", that's not very appreciated by people like me, I don't like "strange" children come up to my table

About MacDo: IMO, that's a place where you can eat wherever you are in teh world, so do you REALLY want to eat there when you're at DLP??? With all those other great restaurants???

I agree that the resturants are child friendlyhowever,when we went to walts with a three year old they had no colouring stuff and the kids menu was limited to two choices Fish and Grilled Chicken, (very nice Chicken).
I did notice that at walts that they sat the familys with children togther away from people who did not have children.

I do not feel it is safe to let a child run around a restaurant, I always have visions of a hot plate being dropped on a child as the CM has not seen them! However I guess it can be hard when a child is excited.

thanks will give walts a miss, i thought it wasn;t really kiddy friendly, i never let my kids run riot, i hate it, but thanks for letting me know that they provide colouring stuff as i normally go armed with pens/paper to keep them quiet.
