Are there TV shows you avoid?

CSI - ick! WAY to nasty and graphic for me.

I also agree with the poster that said she couldn't ever get into NYPD Blue b/c it gave her a headache

There is one sitcom I have NEVER liked and actually hate - Drew Carey (sp?) - it's just so dumb

I don't like any daytime or nighttime soaps type shows.
I can't stand any shows that have people making out in them.
I don't like Fear Factor, either. Those stunts are so gross.
I also basically don't like anything that is shown on MTV.

I can't stand any reality shows - Survivor, American Idol, Who Wants To Marry My Dad's Thrid Cousin, etc, etc, etc. I just honestly couldn't care less about any of them! Yuck.

I'm also not a fan of soap operas, talk shows, or game shows.

Thats funny I love all of the "crime" shows. I especially love the one about "Cold Cases." It's so interesting.

I avoid soap operas. Daytime TV in general. I would much rather watch a news show based on quasi-reality.

I avoid that hideous "Things I Hate About You" show on TLC. I really don't need to lose an hour of my life watching a show about a pathetic bickering married couple. Grrr.

With the exception of "Last Comic Standing", I avoid any & all "reality" game shows on the networks.

They are contrived, tacky, bitter and designed to bring out the worst in people.

I watch little TV, seems pretty much a wasteland, getting more barren by the season. If I do watch, it is PBS, TLC, History, A&E, Discovery, maybe a TCM once in awhile, History, Fox News, CNN, Travel, ESPN/2, you know, basic boring, LOL. I used to enjoy VH1 till they jumped in the sewre with their sister station, MTV, too much trash. We had HBO till some years back till most of their programming was unacceptable. You'd think with cable, DirecTv and TiVo I'd watch more.

tends to agree with Dan and every one else,, the only "reality " show i watch is surviving Ted Nugent on vh1,and thats only because i remember when ted actually toured and played ,, mostly,, Ted, Charmed, Father of The Pride, Startgate and Blue Collar tv are about the only series tv we watch.

Anything longer than 30 minutes. My sister says I have ADD. I could never sit still for an hour long program plus many of them are just nighttime soaps.
