Are there same day ADRs opening up in WDW now?

We have an impromptu trip Aug 15-19 to WDW, and, of course no ADRs were available. This is driving me nuts as I usually plan a year out. Pre dining plan you usually could find something the same day. Anyone scoring any last minute ADRs recently?

I'm not sure, I'm going 8/27-8/28 for an impromptu trip, and was able to get a couple ADRs. With free dining (bounceback) already started it's going to be hard to get same day ADRs. I'd check out the cancel wanted threads on this board, and try calling back, you never know when someone might cancel. If you can be flexible with where you dine which days and times.

try the restort restaurants. we did this last year and got oliviias at okw, and the turf club at saratoga springs. wonderful meals. also try captian jacks at down town disney. good luck

Places that we have been able to get last minute ADRs are:

Cape May breakfast
Beirgarten
House of Blues
Kona breakfast


Dont give up, call every day and with any luck something may become available.

About 2 weeks before Easter, I planned my Easter trip so it was very last minute and also a peak time. The only ADRs I was able to get was one night at Citricos and another at the HDDR as they had some cancellations (we actually had Easter at the HDDR).

You might try the signature dining restaurants if you are desperate to have something.

When I got to WDW, I called central dining a few times trying to get last minute ADRs and I couldn't. I was told there was "nothing" and yet 30 minutes later I walked up to the 1900 Park Fare Buffet and got right in without an ADR.

Try resort restaurants and dining at odd times. One thing I do is just call and ask if they have anything for tonight (or tomorrow, etc.) in Epcot (or in MGM, etc.). I've gotten last minute ADRs for dinner lately at China and Germany in Epcot.
