Are there no good places to grab a quick lunch at Universal studios?

I've read negative reviews about Monster Cafe, International Food, Mel's, and had my own bad experience at Louie's!

Is there any place GOOD to eat at Universal Studios other than Lombard's Landing (which is not in my game plan!)

If the emphasis is on "quick" that leaves out Finnegan's, which can be quite good.

I'd suggest browising the food stands from Chez Alcatraz on through the Amity Boardwalk area. It's pretty compact geographically and these places also have the advantage of serving things you can eat while walking to someplace else.

Robinrs,
I LOVE YOUR GRAPHICS! I HOPE YOU HAVE A SUPER VACATION (AND A SAFE ONE).

If you mean Universal Studios only, then Lombard's Landing and Finnegan's is pretty good. For a fast meal, try Ritcher's. The burgers aren't great, but edible. Avoid Mel's Diner at all costs unless you just want a soda. The food there was pretty bad. The International Food Bazar is OK, but the last two times I was there, the line moved slower than Test Track's standby line!

Your other option is to get your hand stamped and hit Citywalk.

Now if you want to eat at IOA, that's a different story! :)

Last November I really enjoyed the Monster Cafe! I had a quarter roast chicken, corn on the cob and garlic roasted potatos. (I can't believe I remember that exactly!)

It was fresh, hot and good! I'd compare it to Boston Market, which I personally like.

It also helps that EVERYWHERE you go, you get an AP discount!

There is a place, I don't remember the name, between Earthquake and Jaws that serves really good fish 'n chips, and also hot dogs. The tables are outdoors by the lagoon. We were really pleased with that place. Richters was ok too.

Currently, IFB is undergoing a MAJOR overhaul which has closed the building until June-

Will the food be better? I don't know. Service wise, it will probably help get folk in and out much easier.

And it is quick if it you hit off the times that most folk tend to go eat-1pm instead of 12 noon-just a thought that I know works...

I was in the line for IFB at 2 pm. Three people were ahead of me and I was in line for 15 minutes. :(
