Are There Ever Last Minute V&A ADR's?

We never know too far in advance when we are going to Disney. My soon to be 16 year old and I are headed down next week for a conference and to celebrate his 16th birthday. I really wanted to take him to Victoria and Albert's, but of course, it is last minute and there are no ADR's available. Do last minute cancellations or openings occur, or is it likely a lost cause at this point?

Bluezoo is amazing.

I saw that and was wondering, but having never been over to the Swan or Dolphin, not sure how easy it would be to get there. Do Disney buses go there? Of course, there is always a cab or Uber.

Just wondering what does he love and yourself

I am pretty easy to please. He likes most meats and most seafood, just not steak. I still maintain that it is because he hasn't tried a truly awesome filet, but to each their own. The good thing is, he'll try almost anything once. In truth, he just really would like to go somewhere where he can wear his suit coat and bow tie. He's a snazzy dresser and wants to go somewhere more on the dress up side. Pretty much the exact opposite of his mother.

Staying at the Beach Club i'd take him to Trattoria Al forgo

Definitely an option. Originally, we were going to do our fancy dinner on our first night, but wanting to go to the Magic Kingdom after, that put restraints time wise on where we could choose. Instead, we have decided to go on our last night, which means we can pretty much go anywhere.

You may want to call the WDW dining hotline and schedule by phone.

Great suggestion, will give them a ring tomorrow.

We will be at the Beach Club.
Go to the boat dock for YC/BC catch the boat heading towards DHS and get off at the Swan/Dolphin stop.
After dinner catch the Epcot boat at the Swan/Dolphin dock and get off at the YC/BC dock.

what dates are you going?

It's less than a 5 minute walk from the Beach Club. Turn right as you exit the Beach Club on the lagoon side, head towards the bridge near the Atlantic Dance Hall and go over it. Swan and Dolphin are right in front of you.

If you can't get an ADR at V&A's, I second suggestions for Jiko or Citricos. I will admit that I've never been to Bluezoo because it focuses on seafood and I'm allergic but if you like the menu, just walk over. It will take you longer to wait for a cab than to walk there and it takes about the same time as the boat from the BC to get there.

I haven't been to Trattoria Al Forno for dinner (only breakfast) and it's got a nice menu with a nice atmosphere but Jiko or Citricos are a step above IMO and I suspect that Bluezoo is as well.
