Are there ever AP/FL rates for WL Villas?

We are booked for Oct in FW cabin but we are considering the villas because we have two small kids and don't want the hassle of bus transportation or renting a golf cart. The problem is, I expect there will be FL resident rates for the cabin which will knock down its price considerably (although we have the added expense of the golf cart).

I'm gonna check out renting points but I was wondering if there are ever any FL resident (or AP as they are the same) discounts on the villas? Anyone know?

VWL is the smallest DVC resort. So there might not be any rooms available to rent out to the general public, other than the 5% that Disney owns and the points used by members to reserve non-DVC resorts. By the time any AP rates come out, it would probably already be booked solid.

Now SSR or OKW might have some availability since they are much larger. I have gotten an AP rate at SSR to add to my points stay.
