I thought it would be fun if dmil saw all the theming which goes into the rides-even if she won't be going on them..
No, not at DisneyI'm sure this doesn't apply to OPs DMIL, but can a kid that doesn't meet height requirement walk through to at least see the theming as well?

At Disney NO.
At Universal, however, YES.

...Harry Potter FP ...
I first read that as Harry Potter Fast Pass. Brain went "isn't Harry Potter at Universal? But Fast Pass? Wha?"
...Critical System Shutdown!

Its similar to what disney calls a FP, i think its called an express pass or something like that. but the certificate they gave her entitles her to in essence 'fast pass' the line to go on the ride.![]()
AHA! So UO is stealing ideas from Disney! I smell a war on I-4! (No, I'm kidding, I know there's some fundamental differences)
I took my kids to a theme park with something called "Fast Lane" and they figured out how to totally abuse it within 2 hours.
Thanks guys.
We are only going to Disney-not universal also.
And dmil is in a wheelchair-but will be accompanied by ds swiftly exiting tot also!!
I have to do the alternative exit for five years and I can assure you it's on every attraction at Disney World and it's easy to use. Once at the boarding area, you just say "X to ride and X to exit" and that's it. However - you might want to scope out where the non rider(s) will be after the attraction. For Twilight Zone, that's easy. They will both be waiting for you once you exit your plunging elevator. But, for your mother-in-law on other attractions, you could be exiting somewhere else. Check with the Cast Member before you enter the queue and see where your mother-in-law will be taken after her exit. Then go there and find a spot to meet. Then you all enter the queue and meet up after.
just remind them that exit will have CM in character taking them down. have seen some get scared to enter because of CM not believing it was chicken exitThanks guys.

That's why I was curious - DD still has her paper certificate for Harry Potter FP when she heights into it which she now of course does. It was a pretty cool idea![]()
I have, probably is up to the cast member, and always do child swap but we do the line together with the kid who is not tall enough for the rideNo, not at Disney
If you were allowed in a line at disney with a too small child you were very luck as disney police is if you are too short to ride you are too short for the line.I have, probably is up to the cast member, and always do child swap but we do the line together with the kid who is not tall enough for the ride
you have been lucky as we have never been able to take a too short child in lineIf you were allowed in a line at disney with a too small child you were very luck as disney police is if you are too short to ride you are too short for the line.
