Are there beaches within walking distance at Nassau and Freeport?

To get to a nice beach on either you must travel by taxi or water taxi. In Nassau you will probably go to Paradise Island (water taxi) and in Freeport take a taxi (15 mins) to Lucaya (which is beautiful) and it has some nice hotels.
