Are there any songs you can't listen to, for whatever reasons?

hahah ya it is a law.
radio stations actually have to play at least 20% canadian content (which is pretty good, they should be playing more of it!!) because canadian bands/artists rarely make it big enough to be played on the radio outside of canada.
not entirely sure WHY it's a LAW....except perhaps to be patriotic?
Haha, that's awesome.

Here Comes Goodbye-Rascal Flatts. Personal reason
Angel Of Broken Hearts-Jason Michael Carroll. Personal reason.

Hawthorne Heights is cool, but they make me sad and what not..

anything by alicia keys.
i just don't like her voice.
everyone thinks it's beautiful, but ick.

These Are The Days - Keith Urban...reminds me to slow down and enjoy this time of my life. It was also the song that I played a lot last year around graduation, and it still makes me miss my friends from high school and all the memories I made there.

Amazing Grace - Charlotte Church...her voice is absolutely beautiful, and with this song, I just can't take it. This song always makes me cry because it was played at every funeral I've been too, but with Charlotte Church singing it, I bawl.

If Heaven - Andy Griggs and You'll Be There - George Strait...my grandfather was a pastor, and he always preached about never fearing death, but to accept it and embrace it. These two songs are basically everything I've learned from him, set to music.

Starting All Over Again - Israel Kamakawiwo'ole...this song has always spoken magnitudes to me, and it can always make me tear up.

If You're Reading This - Tim McGraw...after a soldier from my town died, I cannot listen to this song without sobbing.

And then the songs I just cannot stand:
95% of today's top 40 music.

And lately I just cannot stand to listen to the radio. Everywhere I go, I need to bring my ipod to listen to in the car, because I can't stand the music played on the radio. It's so overplayed. Even my local country station..it's depressing.

Anything by P!nk . hatee herr. I always change the station when her music is on.
Pocketful of Sunshine - Natasha Bedingfield or w/e. I don't like that song.

Anything that's like, the most over played songs ever on the radio right now.

Bubbly - Colbie Colliet or whatever.
Black Horse & the Cherry Tree
No One - Alicia Keys.
Hmm...I can't think of any more off the top of my head lol.

*cries a little* Colbie Caillat is my hero.

Change - Taylor Swift.
I just can't listen to it.
Makes me emotional and all..

Oh, and anything by Katy Perry & Lady GaGa.
:headache:

Pocketful of Sunshine - Natasha Bedingfield. It would literally take me hours to explain why I can't listen to this song. But, basically I've hated it since the second I heard it and recently it's become associated with someone I hate with every fiber of my being. As I said: it's a long story.

I also can't stand anything by Miley Cyrus. Her voice brings severe pain to my ears.

I agree.

Pocketful of Sunshine..
The Climb because Miley's voice is annoying and naisley. My sister and I start singing to this song all loud because our voice is better than hers :snooty: but only in this song x.x

I have a lot of trouble listening to songs like about Daddy's having to give their girls away- they make me sad, and I know that it'll be me on day.
Like, one is:
I loved her first, by Heartland

AND, I can't listen to people with really annoying voices (they might not be annoying to you, so don't condemn me if you like it, and I don't! :P, we all like different music, and odds are, you hate something that I don't, or i hate something you don't).

Example of annoying voices: Mandisa, Todd Agnew

Hero by Enrique Iglesias(sp?) & Here Without You by Three Doors Down;; These songs were played at my uncle's funeral in 2004 and ever since then whenever I hear them on the radio I HAVE to turn it off even though I immediately start crying.

I Can Only Imagine by Mercyme;; Even though I don't remember him this was played at my great grandpa's funeral almost 10 years ago and the song itself just depresses me and makes me think about death.

*Those are pretty much the songs with a good reason behind me not being able to listen to. Of course there are others but I can't listen to those only for the sake that I either dislike the artist or the song itself.*

Plain White T's - Hey there Delilah
Katy Perry - Waking up in Vegas
Lady Gaga - Poker Face; Just Dance --- WAAAAAAAY overplayed

OMG!!!!! i cant believe you dont like that song!!!! i think its amazingg lol
but i completely agree with lady gaga.. over played sooooo much!

the climb- that dong makes me want to puke

anything that says "lets get drunk/high and sleep around to prove how awesome we are"

bb good - jonas brothers
this song just annoys me

anything by miley cyrus. i dont like her voice

black dress - kisschasy
tell me these lyrics aren't creepy: http://www.plyrics.com/lyrics/kisschasy/blackdress.html

dead by dawn - showbread
another song that i find creepy

anything that makes me feel bad about myself

I'll Be by Edwin McCain. I have no idea why I can't listen to it, it's a happy song, but it always makes me really sad.

That was mine and my ex's song.
I can't listen to rap. I can't stand it.
Reallllly country music bothers me. I don't like it, but I can tolerate it more than rap.

You're Missing by Bruce makes me so sad sometimes.

Every time I listen to:

You Are Not Alone~Michael Jackson
They Don't Care About Us~Michael Jackson
Will You Be There~Michael Jackson

I break down into sobs. Like hysterical. I used to listen to them before I went to bed, before he died, like religiously, but now I can't sleep if I do, because I will end up an emotional wreck.

The most annoying song to me is Love song by Taylor Swift.
I used to love it but the radio stations play it to many times and it gets to annoying.

I CANNOT listen to this.. no matter HOW much I try.. cause its sad, cause i LOVE this song.. but it reminds me too much of Daniel

Daniel was a dancer at our studio who was AMAZING.. unfortunaly he died of Caner...

and at hour recital, the studio did a dance for him and the song was "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" by that hawiian dude..

to this day i can't listen to it..
