Are there any rides at any park that allow a 4 month old?

Is there anything a 4 month old can be safely held on at WDW? Small World? Tomorrowland Transit Authority? Magic Kingdom steam train? Tower of Terror? (just kidding)

:rotfl: That was so funny Tower of Terror. I know you can hold the baby on Small World, TTA, Pirates of the Carribean (there is the little drop, but you can still hold the baby, if the darkness does not scare them), you can see Carosel of Progress (I love that). I am not sure if you will be able to do peter pan or not, because I do not know if you can hold the baby. You could do Haunted Mansion, if the baby would not get frightened. You could definitely do the steam train also.

You'll be able to do almost everything at every park, unless it has a height requirement. My DS was 6 months the first time he went and I held him on nearly every ride.

Enjoy! Disney is pretty baby friendly. :)

At 8 weeks old, my DD rode:

AK - Safari

MK - Peter Pan, Buzz Lightyear, Small World, Haunted Mansion, Pirates, Winnie the Pooh

MGM - Great Movie Ride

As someone else said, anything without a height requirement should be okay. We wore her often in a baby bjorn and she did just fine.

just get one of those chest mounted baby harnes and the whole holding thing is fixed.

grant it.. i have no kids and i'm clueless when it comes to babies..

.....frighting babies.... :::shivvers:

absolutely! My 1 month old rode....

Haunted Mansion
Snow White
Carosel
Pooh
Buzz Lightyear
Wedway
Jungle Cruise
Aladdin
Tea Cups....

:)

Also, Living with the Land at Epcot seemed pretty popular with the baby crowd. :teeth: It's a pretty long ride about agriculture and farming, etc. that's on a slow moving boat indoors. Everytime there was a baby on board, they looked like they were perfectly happy taking a nap while the parents enjoyed the ride.

We went on most rides without a height requirement. We had fun and got some nice pictures of characters with our kids. You shouldn't have a problem finding stuff you can go on.

I'm with the previous posters - definitely bring a baby bjorn or sling. They are GREAT! We took our twins at 4 mos and hubby kept one strapped to him and I had the other. We didn't have any problems on any of the rides (w/o height restrictions of course) and having them already strapped to you makes it easy to get in and out, then zoom to the next attraction without having to get them into a stroller.

They only thing they didn't like was Mickey's Philharmagic - it was too loud for them. It scared the pants off our 3 yr old, and he was scared of any theater-style attraction the rest of the trip. In fact, he still won't go to the movies. Funny- the kid loves dinosaurs and monsters, but getsscared at Mickey's? :confused3

When we took DS at 9 months old, he rode everything that did not have a height restriction & he had a blast!

A sling is a great idea (I loved mine SO MUCH MORE then the Baby Bjorn). But you can also just hold them on the rides.
