I have us booked in for dinner on Oct. 1 at 5pm. Seems like more people don't like it than do like it for dinner and now I am second guessing our ADR. We have never eaten TS at MK (maybe once in 1994 at CP) as we are always on the go. Now we have this opportunity with DDP and I am wondering if we should change this to lunch instead. My DD18 and BF19 probably don't care too much about the characters and we are doing CP for breakfast one morning. Please help with this - should we go for dinner, lunch or change to another TS? :surfweb:

It's really up to what you want to. Lunch is ala carte off the menu and Dinner is family style with a set menu-

We enjoy it, but we aren't hard to please and my DH and DS like regular American food which is what this is.

We had dinner there last May and we LOVED IT!!!!! Going back for dinner in July!!! :woohoo: :woohoo:

LTT will be my next installment of the 2 year disney review....so look for it up on Sunday as we're eating there Saturday night!

Absolutely I will look at your review when you get it, Jezzebella. I hope you have a great trip. :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I know everyone has such different opinions on just about any place in Disney but we just adore LTT! It was our first meal there last year and we decided it will be our first again this year. DH almost wanted to do it twice and we still may. The character interaction with my son was far beyond what we got anywhere else. We loved the food. However, we are not overly adventurous eaters in the first place. We like the typical american food. It all tasted really good to us and our service was great. We liked the atmosphere too b/c it was so cozy. We had no problems at all there and are very much so looking foward to it again this year. Like I said, it is all in what kind of exp you are looking for. :)

Our family has made LTT our first nights dinner for years. For us, it's family style comfort food. The character interaction has always been great. Now that our "children" are adults with their own families, they feel that not having that first nights dinner at LTT doesn't make the time at Disney "feel right". Then the following morning we all must have breakfast at CP. The Disney traditions are a must do when we go.

We just ate there on Mother's Day for dinner.
We loved it!!
It tasted a lot better than "just Stouffer's food" that I've read on these threads lately.

We all had plenty to eat & everyone found things that they liked.
I liked the turkey the best.
DH liked the ham.
DS8 liked the flank steak (I think that's what it was).

I'm sure we'll eat there again.

You will find what one loves, the next just don't like;) We ate there once for lucj a couple of years ago and we personally did not like it at all. Could have been a off day for them?

We ate there for dinner on Mother's Day. The meats are OK. I especially liked the ham. I think the stuffing tastes like Stove Top. It isn't the worst place to eat, but I think there are better choices.

we ate there a few weeks ago, our kids loved it and it had to be one of teh best character interactions we have had...
food was good
turkey,
ham,
roastbeef/steak/(or some sort of in between meat)
potatoes (ask for extra butter but they were awesome!)
mac and cheese ( a bit too sharp for us but still good)
dressing was fine not good not bad
I think it came with beans also
it was one of teh better meals becasue my kids love thanksgiving traditional meals so they scarfed it up. rolls were awesome but we had to ask for reg butter my son has food allergyies and we tend to stick away from honey)
only prob we had was size of table it was alot of food and not alot of room on the table so it was a bit awkward uncomfortable but othe rthan that servis was fast, good and characters came around 2 x
