Hello Renate

I'm British but my DH works in Germany (Gelsenkirchen so we support Shalker football team ) and we have an apartment there. What I do know is that you can often get cheaper flights to the USA (from Frankfurt mostly I think) than we can in the UK. I have met some Germans at Disney's Vero Beach resort, but they were not DVC members but frequent visitors to Florida.

I am sure there must be some DVC members who are German - good luck finding them.

Dont tell someone who lives at Dortmund that you support Schalke (just kidding, I dont care about football at all )

Yes the flight are really cheap sometimes...we were lucky and got returnflights for only 198€ in January
