Are there any BAD Polynesian GV rooms?

Everyone keeps asking which rooms at the Polynesian are the best, but I think it would be easier if you could tell me if there are actually any bad rooms - overlooking loading docks or parking lots, etc.

I don't mind the lovely walk to GCH or TTC. I don't mind overlooking the pool or even the monorail, so I'm wondering if I even need to put in a request other than no-smoking/1st floor.

It looks like we'll be sticking with GV room.

One side of Raratonga faces a parking lot. We were on the first floor and could not see it, but I believe if we were up higher thats what the view would have been. I wouldnt have cared, I just love being at the Polynesian so much, but if a parking lot view bothers you, and you end up in Rarotonga, be sure to be on the first floor.
Good Luck!

Not really garden view, but I wouldn't want to overlook the Marina, it tends to be noisy there with the Watermice. Same with the GF.

The far side of Rarotonga does face the parking lot but it is not very close to the parking lot. The far side of Rapa Nui is what I would call the worst garden view. It not only faces the parking lot but you are very close to the parking lot. Other than that, I think all the garden views are great. The marina does get noisy but some like being close to all the activity. It gives them something to watch from their balcony or patio.

Thanks for the great responses. I don't think I would mind the marina part, I do like watching the action, but the parking lot would bother me.

Do you know if you can put on the requests - Any longhouse except Rapa Nui and Rarotonga?

I suppose you could. That should be an easy request to fill.
