or have they finally changed or added additional ones? Bringing a DW 1st timer in less than 2 weeks and I hope this won't be the 1st and only wake up call experience.

Still Stitch! If I am remembering correctly, they added Stitch as the wake up call just about the time they opened Stitch's Great Escape. Maybe they should have one of the Monster's Inc cast do the wake up calls? Roz would be hilarious!

When are they going to get Captain Jack Sparrow to do some wake up calls?:love:

DD would love that! She would like anything but Stitch. She's not a big fan. End of August when we were there she kept hoping it would change every morning but it didn't happen. Maybe by the time we go back in November.

Having Stitch do the guest's wake up calls is very passive-aggressive of Disney, doncha think?

I do.

He doesn't f-a-r-t into the phone, does he?

popcorn::

I think we should all write letters and demand Mickey or another more benign character.

We had Stitch the whole time we were there. After the 4th or 5th day, I couldn't handle him screaming in my ear anymore, and used my cell phone alarm as the wake-up call.

We love Stitch, he's one of our favorite characters. But it's time to go back to Mickey, or try someone new...

I think they should record 10 different wake-up calls and rotate them, that way, most people will get a different one every day. Makes it seem more "sincere".

I'd love it to go back to Mickey - but I've found I've actually starting using Stitch's "wake up" to get my kids out of bed for school. If I remember it's something like...

"Wakie Wakie.....NO MORE SLEEPING!!!!"....
(if I heard him right, and it's been about 2 years).

:)

We had mickey the second day we were there but the rest of the time it was STITCH and it was PAINFUL in your ear!:eek:

Thats the way it was when we went in 2001. Well at least 5 or 6 different ones anyway. I don't know why they changed it to only one. They have an endless supply of characters they can use for these.
