Are the quiet pools at POR heated?

Are the quiet pools at POR heated? We're going in December and really would like to swim late at night. Coming from upstate NY, we can handle the cold air, but would rather not turn into ice cubes when we jump in!

I posted this question a few months ago and got conflicting responses. I thought I'd give it another try.

I believe they are heated. Although when I went in one last time is was Aug. and about 100 degrees, so I could be wrong.

What dates will you be there?
My family has started a tradition to visit a Disney resort at the beginning of December for a "pre-holiday" get a way. This allows us to enjoy the decorations of the season all while missing the crowds. Last year was our first year doing this and we stayed at Port Orleans Riverside. I recall walking back to our room in the evening (it was dark) and seeing steam rising off the the private pools. Curious, I felt the water and it was...HEATED! Needelss to say that this year when we booked our "pre-holiday" stay we are staying at the POR again. We love this resort and will be there December 3rd- 5th.

Another perk...the boat ride to Downtown Disney. Have you ever tried parking in downtown disney at night?

The pools are heated year round.

All of Disney's pools are heated. When it's cold outside, I love to see the steam rise from the pools at night. Just remember if it's cold outside, bring something to warm you up after you get out of the water.
