Are the parks more crowded on e-ride nights?

Was just wondering, since we plan on doing MK on a Friday they have an e-ride night, will it be more crowded than usual because of this? Also, does anyone have a schedule of EE days? I know there was a time when Disney stopped this but I am assuming it's been picked up again.

NO the parks are less crowded on E ride night because it is additional ticket and they sell limited amount. WE were there in fall 2000 and didn't have to wait in line for anything!

I know you are paying above and beyond the regular admission but what is the cost for a E-night?

I have been in the MK at official park closing on non e-nights when the crowds were very light during the last couple of hours. This was not the case on e-nights that I have been there; it seems that there were people there for normal park touring and there were additional people there for e-night. From what I've seen, MK can be more crowded on e-nights prior to official park closing. I've planned our next visit so that we will be in MK on a non e-night and will not be there during the evening of an e-night that we will not be participating in (we plan to do one e-night during our stay, but there will be 2 opportunities).

I'm not sure how well my strategy will work because each night we are there, the MK is scheduled to close at a different hour AND the non e-nights have Spectromagic and Fantasy in the Sky scheduled. It could turn out that those nights are more crowded in the evening than the evening hours on e-night prior to the start of e-night. Special events, days of the week, and closing times of other parks may have a bigger effect on the evening crowd at MK than the e-night participants do.

(Most of my sentences drag on because I'm trying to make it clear that I assume the OP is addressing the crowd size in MK during the evening hours prior to official park closing and the start of e-night.):(

The ee mornings are now called the Extra Magic Hour and are scheduled as follows:
Sunday - Magic Kingdom
Monday - Disney's Animal Kingdom
Tuesday - Disney-MGM Studios
Wednesday - Epcot®
Thursday - Magic Kingdom
Friday - Disney's Animal Kingdom
Saturday - Disney-MGM Studios

I guess I am more interested in those who have spent the day at MK when they were offering the e-ride at night. I don't plan on doing the e-ride and was wondering if during the day seemed more crowded because of it.

We just got back. We were in MK when there was an e-ride night on May 10th. We did not do this since we have 2 little ones. They park was empty!! I'm not sure why. The official hours posted were closing at 9 PM (Spectro at 8:30 and FIS at 9). On the boat ride over from WL, the captain said MK is open until 10 tonight. DH and I just looked at each other and smiled. So I don't know if everyone thought the park was closing at 9 and left after Spectro and the FIS or what, but we pretty much did everything in fantasyland from 9-10 with no lines. When we left at 10, there weren't too many people on Main Street which leads me to believe they changed the hours and didn't post it very well. When we were there after Spectro and FIS on the 13th, the park was only open until 9:30 and that's when all the rides closed and there was a mobscene trying to get down Main Street. I think we just ended up lucky on the 10th.
