Mickeyfan, if you didn't know the show ended about midnight. I was in and out of the room when they announced best picture...It was Chicago right? I was impressed when Adrien Brody told them to stop the music and let him finish as he had only thanked 5 people (Bravo!), then continued with his words to his friend in Kuwait and how he better understood the plight through his making of The Pianist.
