Are the lines long in September?

I am going to POR from the 10th to the 16th. I want to avoid long lines! This is my 9th time and I never been in September. My GF has gone 1X but lines were so long that we could only do 25% of the rides. Can I acheive this goal? Any hints?

We just returned from Wilderness Lodge, 8/26-9/3, and we just about walked on every ride. EPCOT was like desserted. MGM too. AK tends to look crowded but that just the walk ways. MK usually is alittle more cramped but we had no problem other than the holiday weekend, people must have poured out for the extra day. EE was just about a walk on and we usually don't arrive at the parks at rope drop, weather had us worried for being too hot but the temps hovered in the low 90's and the pools were refreshing.

I don't feel you will have a problem at all. It seems that the parks are deserted in September. I think you will love your trip and maybe even plan that time of year in the future. It is AWESOME!

I just came back on the 7th sep. and we did all the parks in record time. We even did MGM & 1/2 of Epcot in one day!! We went to all the parks on their extra magic nights but didnt need to stay longer as there really wasn't a need too. We only used Fastpass for a few lines but even then we really didn't need to because the max. wait time to line up was never more than 20 min. You will be very surprised as to how short the lines are, and how fast you can do the parks.

The only park that was 'busy' was Animal Kingdom, I think maybe because it isn't as big as the other parks and isn't as spacious. You will have a great time, but remember to bring a raincoat or an umbrella because it will rain. And when it's not raining its very very hot, bring a water bottle.
