My 14 yr old DS was very excited over the fact we will have free rentals (although not sure when we'll have any time to watch them?), but he was wondering if there are any movies other than all the Disney ones? Anyone know? Also, anyone have any idea where to go for dinner at the BCV's without the kids, but stay close by? They Yacht club steakhouse is way too expensive, but are there any other nice places, but won't break the bank? thanks.

Last uear DW and I had a very nice dinner at Gullivers in the Swan/Dolphin, aka Garden Grove during the day. Bonus is that DVC members get a 20% discount. It was really errie when we went. It was a weekday and both Swan and Dolphin were hosting the same group of conventioneers. That evening had all of them off property for some function. So we enjoyed our dinner as the only guests in the dining room that seats about 300:eek:

Take a look at the menu database here on the DIS.

My teens rented movies at VB and said there was quite a variety - not just Disney movies.

On movies, whether DVD's at BCV or tapes at other DVC resorts, what you will filnd is that they are all "Disney" movies. However, "Disney" includes Walt Disney Pictures, Touchstone, and Miramax (which also includes Dimension which made the "Scream" series of movies) so you can get films grom G to R ratings.

Cape Cafe May has a seafood buffett - and DVC get 10% off.

for just a casual and inexpensive (for disney ) there is Beaches and Cream - but this place can really get crowded after Epcot closes.

Canada is not far away - and there steakhouse is good.

OK, thanks everyone. I wasn't aware of the discount at Cape May, thats great. I guess I need to review the DVC discounts before we go.:D
