Are the Duggars expecting again?

I really hope it's not Michelle. The last People interview was so distrubing because she seems to have come to grips with the fact that she is going to kill herself having children. Jim Bob is disgusting - if you don't believe in birth control, you could at least keep it in your pants every once in a while.

The daughter before Josie barely knows her parents. They missed everything. Why would you want to have a child that you won't get to see take their first steps or hear say their first words? There's a big difference between being biological parents and actually raising your children. I love that when they ask them questions about the kids' personalities it almost always is something completely bland like "J... loves spaghetti."

NOt Bates I don't think b/c last time they were on she was already pregnant with nubmer 18 no way could she have had it so soon and gotten preg again .....is there? Jeesh how do they do it? Seriously how the heck fertile are these people?

It's not that they don't believe in birth control; it's far more radical than that. They are members of the quiverfull movement- which states it is your God given obligation to have as many children as God decides for you to have. You are supposed to have frequent unprotected sex because you are supposed to be producing children. That's right; its a sin to not have sex. On the flip side quiverfull believers will not go to fertility clinics because that would be taking the decision away from God. Some members will not allow a C- Section even if the fetus or mother needs it because it interferes with God's decisions on life and death.

That being said. I don't watch them. I think they are crazy. But let them do what they want so long as I don't have to support them with my tax dollars. It's when people hold these views and then want the government to support them that I get bothered.

FYI- This isn't the same as Catholic. I am Catholic. We are allowed to practice birth control within marriage so long as we use math and not chemistry

Did you notice in the 20 Years, 20 Duggars special, when Michelle was talking about the kids after about the 10th one or so she could only talk about their births- nothing about their personalities. It was very telling.

I saw a promo for the next one. Nothing about an announcement but Michelle looked like she was in a maternity top. She probably only has maternity clothes and never loses the baby weight but she looked pregnant in a clip where she was opening the door.

I saw it too. But then in a different promo, they showed the Bates coming to visit. I thought that she was telling her family that the Bates were expecting again. I highly doubt it's Michelle so soon but who knows!

I didn't see that but on their last episode of 19 Kids and Counting, Michelle talked about her desire to have more children and justified it by saying that she's had pre-eclampsya before, and continued to have beautiful, healthy children and if she had stopped at that point in time, she wouldn't have the ones she has now.

I found that little talk interesting, and at that time thought, I wonder if she is pregnant and is trying to prevent what people would say. She talked about others taking care of Josie as well as past pregnancies.

Or maybe the DIL looked surprised because she thought they would get to announce it (if they are pregnant), not Michelle. I hope it's the DIL.
