Are the Duggars expecting again?

Can't help but wonder.....since Josh and Anna had no sex, not even kissed before their wedding, what would have happened if Anna had been someone that could not get pregnant? Since they don't believe in outside help to get that way would Josh have stayed with her? What a disappointment to the clan to have someone that wasn't fertile to marry one of them!

Also, sounds like no matter what is going on or how bad Michelle feels, when JimBob says it's time, she's gotta hop in the sack. Do you really think she is excited about it every time!!!!

If I didn't have to take care of any household chores or do anything with the kids, I'd probably have a lot more energy for "marital relations". :rolleyes1

She only BF's for 3-6 months (can't remember the exact number) so she's able to get pregnant again ASAP. :sad2:

That's pretty much what I was imagining. (that, or she nursed some and formula fed some at the same time) Some women that exclusively breastfeed only do it for a short period of time but not for the entire first year, so they feed formula for the other months OR use formula and breastfeed at the same time the whole time anyway but still would consider themselves and refer to themselves as "breastfeeding" when asked. (USA moms usually quit around 6 weeks, or at 3 or 6 months, which corresponds to growth spurts so they believe they "don't have enough milk" and start supplementing with formula) Say it with me here: "Not that there's anything wrong with that"

I do know (as posters here wrote!) that even if you breastfeed exclusively for the whole year you can get your period back anyway. (bummer! LOL) guess I was lucky, took me two years!

I wonder if Mrs duggar has breastfed Anna's baby? Something tells me she has......

I thought she was on formula because she had digestive problems because they found her to be lactose intolerant?

I wasn't (we weren't) talking about the latest preemie baby, but what michele duggar "usually" does.

Yes, the newest baby is lactose intollerant (sp?) and is on formula. They had a crazy amount of breast milk saved up and I think they were donating it....
She said she nursed the others till she would get pregnant again, most under a year.....

I really hope it's not Michelle. The last People interview was so distrubing because she seems to have come to grips with the fact that she is going to kill herself having children. Jim Bob is disgusting - if you don't believe in birth control, you could at least keep it in your pants every once in a while.

The daughter before Josie barely knows her parents. They missed everything. Why would you want to have a child that you won't get to see take their first steps or hear say their first words? There's a big difference between being biological parents and actually raising your children. I love that when they ask them questions about the kids' personalities it almost always is something completely bland like "J... loves spaghetti."

I actually was thinking the same thing.... The baby before Josie would have turned one about a week after Josie was borned (I looked up their b-days). Her entire first year (basically) was spent with Michelle having to worry about having Josie prematurely- and now that Josie is born, the other baby (who was only 11 months at Josies birth) is now on the back burner. One is still very much so a baby. Think of the episodes lately where mom stays with Josie and all the other kids are gone. It almost seems like they should leave the 1 yr old with mom and Josie also- not spending several days at a time away from her mom at barely a year old- JMO. I really don't say much bad about this family- they seem to have it pretty well together given all the circumstances, but I particularly feel this 2nd to last baby got left out of the loop..... My gut says Michelle deals with that guilt also, she would just never say it!

LOLNo food? I breast fed exclusively for 5 months, started introducing food (cereal) then, but also continued breastfeeding for a year or more. But I too barely missed a period. That sounds pretty presumptuous of them to think that all the kids are going to settle down close to them and not their spouses' families.

Ys, my kids all had food before a year!! but I did breastfeed them all. And of course at 8 weeks when I got my period they were all just nursing!!

my 3 are now 16, 14 and 10. I was so disappointed when my period came so soon with all 3 of them!!

Any news yet?

I bet it's one of those "fake outs" and it's their dog or cat who is expecting :lmao:

Yeah, that stunk! Oh well, at least it is someone who probably has a reasonable amount of children.

Not at all like TLC to hoodwink us. haha. I definitely didn't think it was Michelle, and as soon as I saw the other families, I knew it wouldn't be Anna for sure. Though, seriously, isn't it a little odd to announce your PA's pregnancy to all of these people who are basically strangers to the PA? I guess though they all support people having children so they would find it to be especially exciting news.
