Are the Cars characters ever around?

My ds loves Lightning McQueen & friends. Are they at any of the parks? Tonya

Lightning McQeen and Towmater are at MGM during sheduled times of the day.

Bummer - That is the one park we have decided to skip. Our kids are 3 & 6 and we just don't feel it will be fun to try and do everything.

Even at the scheduled times it is tough to get neer them because of the crowd. I wouldnt waste the time if I were you.


P.S. I am suprided tho that more people dont like MGM. With Rock N Rollercoaster, TOT, Indiana Jones (still the best show in all of DW) and other avg, rides (Great Movie Ride, Lights Motor Action, Star Tours). I think it at least warrents a half day...oh well, to each his own.

Actually, the queue line to meet Lightning and Mater is organized now. They meet in front of the San Francisco backdrop, and the line is set up against the sidewalk on the left side.

it was very organized on Thursday. We got to the area at 9:15AM and they were just neatly lining everyone up.

BUT - they TOTALLY rushed people through. CARS got places to go, I guess!
