Which is the best day to go the MK?? Fri we are going to MGM,Sat IOA and Sunday I thought we would do MK.Monday a water park.We will only be in Orlando for 4 days.I amd tring to keep everyone happy. :bounce: :smooth:

Considering Sunday is Extra Magic Hour for WDW Resort guests, it could be very crowded since you won't be able to enter the park when the WDW resort guests can.

If your MK options are Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday, then I'd say Friday would by your best bet followed by Monday.

Weekends are very crowded at MK in the summer. Many locals going on the weekends combined with the EMH on Sunday make for large crowds. You won't have the park to yourselves on Friday or Monday but it is usually better than the weekends.

I've only gone off-season so far...sept, oct, and dec and I've NEVER had a problem with crowds on Sunday even this past October when EE was started up again.

Now Saturday is, of course, another story even off season!!

I have always believed that Sundays were the least attended days of the week. A CM once told me that most guests with a week-long vacation come on Sunday and leave on Sunday. Also, "locals" prefer Saturdays.

Did all that change with new EE dates?

We have found, EMH or not, Sunday to be the least crowded day at MK. I guess that wouldn't apply to holidays though. We usually arrive on a Saturday afternoon (we drive) and just relax. The, on Sunday a.m. we kick off our trip with breakfast at the Kona Cafe and Magic Kingdom! What a great way to start.

P.S. I would avoid Saturdays and Friday evenings at MK

Am I missing something in the OP? How do we know they aren't staying on-site?

We've had good luck on Sundays at the MK, but we also only go off season.

Another vote for Sunday here! In the past few years we have toured MK on a Sunday evening, with little problem. This year we opted to do Monday evening touring, and it was so crowded, we barely did anything.

Back to Sunday for our next visit!
