I told my parents I was going to bring a bike down to Fort Wilderness to get around in. I'm 25, and they're going with me for a week. They decided that instead of a me bringing a bike, they'd buy my dad and I a stand up electric scooter to ride!
So my question is, do they even allow this at the park?
I'm hoping someone would say no, because I hate the stand up scooters and would much rather ride a bike. However my father thinks it's cool, so I guess he'd like to know :)

Electric scooters, both stand up and sit down type, are allowed at FW. Even though I have one and bring it along, I prefer to ride my bike. I usually just take the scooter for an evening ride or early in the morning if I want to go up to Trail's End for a quick cup of coffee before everybody else is up.

Mine has a 650 watt electric motor on it. Just sort of hums. Will go about 15mph. :moped:
