Are seagulls still a problem?

Never noticed seagulls at DW but at Cedar Point in the other hand - yikes! My bird phobic daughter is in panic mode all day. Only bird problem at DW we ever had was getting swooped by parrots. She literally tucked in a ball in the middle of the walkway at AK lol.

They are indeed brutal at Cedar Point lol. They're EVERYWHERE up there and their rides are covered in uh...well, you know...

I've only had problems with birds at Epcot. I'm not a big fan of birds to begin with so when they kept walking towards me and swooping behind my head I had to move to a gift shop to calm my nerves.

If your are sitting at a concert in Epcot think about wearing a hat. Last year a flock of birds flew over and "pooped" on myself and several other guest, even in their hair. Luckily I just got hit on the leg and foot, which isn't "good luck" like I had been told all my life.

A squirrel at AK climbed in our stroller. I think he was going to try to steal our pacifier but I shooed him away. Cast Members were trying to get them away from strollers. We kept all our snacks in a zipped soft cooler.

Ibises stalked us as we enjoyed a brief break at AK in January. They didn't seem to be very afraid of us.

I don't know about seagulls, but the mallard ducks are pretty forward. My toddler is now afraid of them since one waddled up to her lap and snatched a French fry from her. We have seen the squirrel stroller scavengers too. Lol. Never leave food in strollers folks!

Perfect description! We were shocked at the scene passing the stroller buffet when we saw it the first time.
AK in Flame Tree's seating area and at MK, Pecos Bill's outdoor dining area were the worst we encountered.

I'll say they are forward. We interrupted 2 making whoopie on the path to Tomorrowland. Talk about public displays of affection!

People feed them thinking it's funny or cute.

The big white birds with beaks in Epcot by America freak me out. The way they slowly walk about with an eyeball on everything. I'm afraid they are going to stab my toe thinking it's food.

I saw a duck at HS hop on the wall next to a kid & start sharing his popcorn (kid was holding the bag). I thought that was pretty bold!

I have never noticed a problem before, but my brother told me that this past January he witnessed two seagull attacks within minutes of each other in Frontierland. He reported that one seagull swooped down and snatched a Mickey bar from a little girl in a stroller and then a few minutes later he saw a seagull snatch a churro from the hand of an elderly woman. He said that the little girl seemed pretty traumatized. I would be too if a seagull took my Mickey bar!
