Unless you want to add-on (through Disney), when would you ever need one? Once your purchase is completed, everything else goes through Member Services or Member Accounting, right?
Not sure, that is why I asked. I wasn't sure what the guide was, or what the guide was used for. I just passed ROFR and am very new to this DVC thing. Glad to know it was just to pruchase additional points, THANKS!
you usually keep the guide of the original purchaser. We have never needed to know that but sometimes we get info or brochures in the mail and I noticed it came from our "guide".
When we first contacted DVC about buying, we spoke with a very nice guide. We decided we did not want Saratoga Springs and that was all they were offering. We eventually bought into the Boardwalk from a resale and the same DVC guide we spoke to before is now our assigned guide.
She sent us our welcome kit and even called to congratulate us on our resale purchase. Of course, she's probably hoping we'll add-on in the future.
