Are prices coming down

Hi

I have been following the prices at the major resalers for quite some time.

I have only been looking at BLT, AKV and VGF.

The asking prices at BLT and AKV has dropped a bit at some sites. AKV seems to have dropped from the mid nineties to the eighties for a 100 points contract. I don't know what the actual sales prices are but I assume they are around the same.

BLT seems to dropped a few dollars as well.

VGF seems almost to be the same.

Are you guys seeing the same? Or are you seeing something differently.

Regards.

vgf appears to be dropping. I got a fully loaded contract (full 2015 and some 2014 points) for $142 a point back beginning of May. Sellers weren't biting much.

I then got another full contract (full 2016 -- no 2015) for $128pp at the beginning of June with seller paying MFs (dropped price to $122.29pp) and I've seen others go for $130-$135 that are loaded up. Seems like there are less deals being reported than two months ago -- don't know if that's the time of year or the gator incident.

I also saw that a seller that was at $150 dropped their price to $130 on a listing for VGF...funny thing was I had offered $130 originally and they countered at $144 and wouldn't budge. A few weeks later they dropped the list price to $130...so it has to be a buyer's market right now.

I would start low balling ($120-$125pp for VGF) just to see what happens -- but I have already blown through my expendable cash budget. Be curious to see what happens from here on out.

all three of these listings were originally listed at about $10-$15 higher.

There is always a considerable dip in price around this time of year, then it starts ramping up again through spring. There is also significantly less ROFR activity around the summer months as well.

So it would be a good time to purchase right now, since the prices are going down.

When are the prices expected to be at the lowest?

That sounds perfect, I almost pulled the trigger on a 100point loaded AKV contract it was 75$/point. I eventually thought that I might as well wait for a BLT contract instead.

Let's hope prices are coming further down.

Prices have kept climbing since about two years ago, but now would probably be a good time to put in an offer. Of course there are no crystal balls ;).

Yes but IF prices indeed are on their way down - you might wait a bit - no one knows if/when the floor has been reached.

What I'm saying is that this little price dip has traditionally happened every year around this time.
