Are points easy to rent? Thinking about buying DVC.

I have been renting points since 1995 and have had no trouble renting up to 4000 points a year at $12.50 each. The points belong to myself and family members and friends also. It is not necessary to give your points away at $10 or less each. With annual dues over $4 each point, you can not even cover your costs at $10 a point.

We called our guide today to start the paperwork! My husband and I are so excited! Thank you all for your help. You have all been great. Hopefully in the next couple weeks we will be DVC members!

So I assume you don't normally rent off of these boards? Do you post anywhere else? In the last 5 years, the cost of renting has not increased. I've seen many posts asking $11 or $12 that don't seem to get rented. I'd love to get $12.

We received our letter yesterday saying our financing was approved. Yay! I can't wait to take our first trip home.
