I haven't enjoyed PM magic hours since they got rid of the wrist bands and emptied the park of offsite guests (nothing personal!)

It has been a few years since I tried them: heavy crowds and long lines IME.

Is it not like that these days? There are no FPs during magic hours, correct?

TIA!:yoda:

The parks empty out some but it is still busy a lot of people do choose to stay late. The are no fast passes for emh

We love PM EMH- offsite guests still stay in the parks but they can't ride anything. I've found the ride lines to be much shorter. Most recent experience was in March of this year- magic hours 12-3am MK. We were able to walk onto every single ride we approached- the only wait was at SDMT and that was just 10 minutes. Definitely worth staying up late for!

Thank you guys for your responses!...I had just remembered things being very claustrophobic, and not really getting on stuff quicker! Your thoughts are much appreciated!

With the wristbands I think it's better again. You have to scan your band to ride

I love the PM EMH, and have never found it to be overcrowded; most rides are walkon, especially as the night wears on and families start to head back to the Resorts.

Is it like that at all parks ? I have read Hollywood Studios is still pretty crowded because there are not many rides.

That's probably true, plus the fact that it's not open as late as MK usually is, people are going to stay longer. Lines will still be a little shorter though, and I think it's nice to walk around at night with fewer people in my way :D

We were at the MK during EMH 2 weeks ago and there were FP return times displayed during the EMH. I was surprised by that.

We've always enjoyed the evening EMH more than the morning ones, we aren't morning people. We've found during that short window we ride all the rides we must do and the late mornings and afternoons are just for relaxing and enjoying the parks or resorts.

There is a HS evening EMH when we are going 10:00-12:00. Should we go?

That's interesting. So even though there are no fast passes, you still need to scan your band to enter a ride during EMH hours?

We always crush it in the MK later at night. Our first night of this past week's trip we had most major rides done once already and also did pete's sideshow meet and greats.

They were scanning one band per group when we were there 2 weeks ago.

Yes, instead of the plastic wristbands they used to hand out, they just scan your band at the entrance of each ride, since your resort info is already on there

Good to know, thanks! We have always stayed on site but never made use of evening magic hours, so didn't know how it worked exactly. I think at least three of our nights on our upcoming trip will be extra magic hours in the evening so that info helps a lot. Take care.

MK eve emh is my all time fav and try to do it every trip.

Last trip we did HS eve emh on our arrival day, used 2 FP+ prior to closing then stayed for emh and got on everything! It was great. Rode TSM last and it was a 20 min wait.

Have done Epcot eve emh a few times including on our last trip and it is always a so-so experience for us. We enjoy the atmosphere and the evening ride on TT but it never feels very productive.

PM EMH hasn't been 3 hours for quite some time. You would have had it from 12-2 or 1-3.
