Due to a football injury, 12 year old DS has a fractured foot. Podiatrist thinks (although we're trying PT, braces, etc. first) he'll eventually need a cast. Waiting for an appt. w/Orthopedic Surgeon, maybe he'll speed things up. If not, the timing will coincide w/our Dec. Cruise (that's what I get for waiting to purchase the Trip Insurance until October - it's now a pre-existing condition).
The disAbilities board consensus is that they allow passengers with casts & bringing on a fold up wheelchair if desired.
Although I'm trying to think positively, does anyone know of any DCL restrictions on passengers with casts?
Additionally, do you think he'd have a difficult time manuvering around the ship with a cast? I assume all decks can be reached by elevator?

or run. Doctors had already given us a what she can/can't do for school so we faxed copies of that with the Medical information form to DCL so that Oceanears Club would know.
