Are online dining reservations down?

Same here, every countdown I have says today is 180 day, including the card disney sent me after I made my reservations. :confused3 Hopefully we are not on hold forever.
 
I just noticed I can reserve April 18th, the first day of my stay, but not any other days. Seems to not recognize them even though they are highlighted as if open.

Another update, it seems if I keep trying, once in a blue moon it works. Very frustrating...at least I got BOG set, now pressing on for Wishes. Don't give up!

Now on perma-hold with phone reservations.
 
However, I think you might have to call them, they may not open them online...

If you have your reservation linked in My Dining Experience and are logged in then you should be able to do it online. I have never had a problem before.
 
As I sit on hold I see online more times are now open for those dates but still won't let me book them.
 

I thought online dining reservations opened at 6am EST? Before even searching I have a red message saying "We're sorry, there is a problem searching for reservations at this time." Is the system down or do I have the time wrong? Do they open for calls at 7am?

Sorry, I haven't read beyond the first post, but IGNORE THE MESSAGE! I was on just now making my ADRs and after my first 2, I started seeing that message. I just went ahead and tried to book, and it worked just fine. I have all my confirmation numbers and emails now.

Just another delightful MDE Glitch. (Honestly, they need to post a pic of Vanellope on there somewhere.)

EDIT as I'm reading more posts - I check in on 4/18 and was able to book my whole stay (4/18-24) online, BUT I had to log in to MDE a couple of times before it would let me. Just FYI.

Sorry, just trying to say that sometimes it acts like it's not going to work, but it actually does.
 
Same here, on hold for 17 minutes and counting....

Just got through on the phone and got my 4 reservations I was looking for though BOG is not on the date I wanted at least I got a reasonable time for my family.

I tried to continue on but it would act like it was searching then come back to the first screen saying search unavailable.

But.... finally got through on the phone after 22 minutes on hold and I was able to book all my adr's including BOG and 805 Crystal Palace:cool1:

I hope everyone else having trouble are able to get what they want!!

I'm not sure why the times were disappearing online but I had no problems when I called:confused3
She said I was her second caller and was unaware of difficulties online and would notify IT.
 
I finally got through on the phone and was able to get everything I wanted. I don't know why it was messed up for those of us with trips starting on April 18th, but at least it seemed to be not working for everyone so the times were booked up. Good luck everyone!
 
So upset and having to get up early on my day off :worried:

I guess off to the phone I must go....
 
I check in on the 17th and had problems booking in my +10 window too. Just off the phone to them and got everything I wanted :thumbsup2
 
Unfortunately, I could only get a few days of reservations because we are doing a split stay. I was hoping it wouldn't affect the window. Oh well...hopefully come Thursday or Friday I will be able to get CRT and BOG still. So far, based on others days, it looks like I should be good.

They should really change the system to allow split stays linked as one reservation to avoid issues like this.

I agree. Especially since so many people end up having to do split stays (some by choice and some not). Hopefully it will not affect your fastpasses.
We were there in July on a split stay (5+5) and I assumed my fastpasses would be split as well but I was able to book for the entire 10 day period instead of having to wait 5 days to do the other reservation. We didn't try booking our ADR's for July until about day 150 so don't know what the experience with that would have been then.
 
I had the exact same issue and thought I was nuts!! Tried my phone's MDE app, then online thru my phone's browser, then from a desktop PC and couldn't get any ressies to go through and every time I did a new search the times I wanted would disappear! Finally called at 9:10 got right through and got everything I wanted. So much for technology!!
 
STILL down!

Does this happen regularly? Daily? I had to unfortunately cancel the few I made on the phone earlier due to some mix ups. So I have to re-book. It's nothing that I should have complications booking. I just rather book online because I prefer getting the emails.
 
Wow, I did not realize folks were having problems this morning, that's awful! Today was our 180 mark (arriving on April 18 too) and I am normally up by 5:30 weekdays so I got my coffee, signed on to the WDW website and into MDE at 6 on the dot, and then went to making dining reservations. I didn't have a problem, although it was giving me weird messages I kept going and it worked fine. Disney has a horrible website; always has. I used to work with programmers/website designers and one somehow looked at Disney's website behind-the-scenes and was horrified. And he was not easy to frighten!

I apologize for my gloating post; I didn't know about the issues you guys were having. I was just happy for us - things usually don't work out like that in my world!

I use Chrome as my browser, and I did clear all my search history just before I went to the WDW website.

It goes to show they truly still have some "magical" cast members. Complete opposite from the first attempt. Not that the first lady was difficult, but this CM represented the true Disney feeling! I just got off the phone, was on for about 45 minutes or so with the gentleman and he was absolutely wonderful :goodvibes

Not only did he help me correct the reservations from earlier, he helped me book dining for my ENTIRE stay!!!! Despite it being a split stay. And I was able to book everything I wanted from April 18th onward and the exact times I wanted. BOG, CRT, etc. So...sooo happy :figment:
 
I'm having the same problem this morning. Up before 5 a.m. central and can only book check in day despite seeing all six days of my stay "lit up" and times available. I just can't book! So beyond frustrating since my husband went in late to work to listen for baby while I took care of this, and now I have to call and he had to leave! :mad:
