Sorry I have been absent this week I have been at another conference. I did my teaching yesterday and have been networking.

I just found out that the government is not going to renew my contract. It is up sept 30th. But it is really disappointing. I did my job and I was good at it. And they saw numbers greater than expected. So they decided they did not need me any more.

Ughhhhhh


So I have until the end of sept.

This is terrible! I'm sure you are a definitely high in demand employee. I suppose all the folks who sat around and waited for you to come back and do you job will be on their own.

The job is gone... They decided that they don't need someone to do this anymore.

I know it is part of the Sequestration and continuing resolution BS... I wish they could just pass a budget, it does not take 4 years + to pass a budget...
