Are Moo Moo's And Boo Boo's Doomed?...Part 5

My friends ok! Just got an update she's still kinda far away! I'm glad she's running slower now!

I'm so glad that your friend is OK. I have only heard bits and pieces about it. Scary stuff :sad1:

She was at mile 25 a half hour after the explosions. No word from her yet. Still hoping she's ok

ETA: she's been evacuated and her family is ok along with her.

I'm glad they are all ok, bella

So... I just volunteered for a work committee. I am probably going to regret this...

Thanks. I've been sobbing all afternoon. No one messes with my beloved boston. I was Born and bred a Bostonian and darned proud of my city!

Here come the tears from me again. My lovely friend just posted on facebook was apparently only .4 miles away when the bombs went off. I'm counting my lucky stars she slowed down towards the end.

sorry to keep posting, I'm kinda having a breakdown right now. I'll be fine!

I am the same way - getting super anxious for my vacation!!

Me too! Is April over yet?

Well I leave in three days!!!!!!

I want to go now!

:banana::banana::banana:

See, I want our suitcases IN THE CAR, Wednesday afternoon around 3PM. I don't know why she always lags on the whole packing thing. She says that she doesn't want her clothes wrinkled, but really she's just a procrastinator. Chronically late for everything, drives me nuts!

I know I've broken Brandi's rule, but my clothes are all in the suitcase, heck I've got my bags o wine in there, plus sodas and water for the first night (we get to our hotel at 3AM). I just realized that I'm running out of one of my medications so I called that in to the pharmacy, but the prescription expired, they have to call the Doctor to get it filled, so I hope that they can fill it today.

I also have to buy cat food. I have the sitter arranged, just need to set up a time for him to pick up the keys. He doesn't know that little Sunny passed away yet.

I think I'm going to pack her shoes and socks. I know she wants to take her brown and black dress shoes for Palo and formal night. I've also packed a pair of sweat pants for her lounge around the room in. I have to find Lucifer (from Cinderella), we brought him on our last cruise and the room steward had a field day with him and the towel animals. Plus Fran had someone to cuddle in lieu of leaving the cats at home.

Looks like you're making progress!:thumbsup2

Omg. Is this on the national news yet? A bunch of explosions at the boston marathon. My friend is running it. I'm now panicking

What tragic day, so sad!

My Dad is from Gloucester and still has a few cousins around there. I hope to visit the area someday.

thanks everyone.:grouphug: sorry for all the depressing posts. I just can't believe it. Its so surreal. I've been to those stores, my prom was held at one of the hotels on lockdown, I was born in one of the hospitals they brought the victims too. I never would've thought this would happen in Boston. I'm supposed to go in to the city wednesday to go to a bruins game. I'm leaving super early because I know security is going to be wicked tight.

We walked down Boylston and shopped there in 2007. Walked past the Trinity Church and the library to get to the Prudential Centre to pick up the Duck Tour. It's completely unfathomable to me why anyone would want to do this!

Still sick... Still staying home. Blah

I hope you are feeling better soon!!!

You should check and make sure the game is still on. I heard the Celtics were cancelled...
