Are Mickey and Minnie married?

If uncle Walt said they are married then the are married, end of arguement! :lmao:

The more important part is how can Disney condone people (or mice) getting into bed together, married or not, in the middle of the MK?? That's just not appropriate :rotfl2:

Oh and Max's mom.. you really don't want to know :sad2:

Even if they weren't married they have been living together so many years if you went by our laws after fifteen years of living together you are considered married. That is true also that both of their last names are mouse:love:

But the point is that they don't live together - they have seperate houses in Toon Town. Of course, those houses could be "museum" type houses from their pre-marriage days, and now they have a house together away from public viewing.

from another Disney trivia website ...
According to Walt Disney, Mickey and Minnie Mouse have never been married on screen. But, in 1933, during an interview with Film Pictorial, Walt said, "In private life, Mickey is married to Minnie... What it really amounts to is that Minnie is, for screen purposes, his leading lady." Two years later in 1935, he told Louise Morgan in the News Chronicle "There's no marriage in the land of make-believe. Mickey and Minnie must live happily ever after." The discussion of Mickey and Minnie's wedding has been fueled by the 1932 film Mickey's Nightmare in which Mickey falls asleep in the armchair instead of meeting Minnie at the local dance. Mickey dreams of being married to Minnie and is surrounded by numerous little Mickey mice. Then in 1935, a cover for for the sheet music "The Wedding Of Mister Mickey Mouse" shows a picture of a beaming Mickey, dressing in a tux, leading Minnie, dressed in a veil, from the church to the happy cheering of Horace Horsecollar and Clarabelle Cow. This music was a Novelty Fox-trot with music by Franz Vienna and words by Edward Pola with special permission by Walt Disney.

But the point is that they don't live together - they have seperate houses in Toon Town. Of course, those houses could be "museum" type houses from their pre-marriage days, and now they have a house together away from public viewing.

Toon Town isn't "private life." ;)

no no no. Is Rabbit a boy or a girl?

and even more importantly... WHY DOES MICKEY HAVE AN ELECTRICAL OUTLET IN HIS FIREPLACE!!!?? DOESNT HE KNOW WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF HE LIGHTS A FIRE!?

We've asked (and seen many others ask) Minnie if Mickey has given her a ring yet and she always shakes her head and acts sad. We were referring to an engagement ring, but maybe Minnie is really upset about that diamond anniversary band she's been wanting! :rotfl:

Gotta Get To Disney! :moped:

If I were married and I had as much money as they did, I'd love to have my own seperate home to decorate any way I wanted. I wouldn't use nearly as much pink and purple as Minnie (and would prefer some beach front property), but, hey, whatever floats you boat. I can believe that they are married.

My question is - If Max is Goofy's son, who is Max's mom?

Actually, I'm not sure I want to think too deeply about that.

I think it was inferred in "A Goofy Movie" that goofy is a widower. :sad2:

Wha...?! How dare you deny something that Walt Disney himself once said. If Uncle Walt says that Mickey and Minnie are married "behind the scenes", then it's true. Besides, HE created the characters.

Guess you're not really a Disney fan after all.:sad2:

Dude! Chill! It was a posting copied and pasted for all to read.

We were told by a CM that they are NOT married ... thats why they have separate houses in ToonTown! :thumbsup2

Daisy and Donald ... well I asked Donald where Daisy was once ... he shrugged his shoulders and pointed to his finger like "We're not married, I don't care"!! It was funny, but a little mean!!

I've been in MTTF and wondered about the marriage/non-marriage of the Mouse family as well. I have to say , after reading this thread, that it is all... still not clear! :lmao:
::MinnieMo Wed, or not wed.... that is the question! ::MickeyMo

....of course you would think if they have been married all these years that there would have been some youngins runnin around...:rotfl: :confused3 :lmao:
