Are Mardi Gras events rain or shine?

Do they cancel anything in the rain? Does the parade still run?

when it rains, no parade.
but if it is after a rain, or a slight drizzle, the floats can come out and the performers will only walk in the streets near the floats.
all for safety reasons for the TMs and guests.
