Are khakis and a nice polo shirt ok for formal night?

That's fine attire. I've noticed less than 5% of the people actually "dress-up" on the 3/4 night cruises. Most wear what you're planning.

Just a question if this is fine for "dress-up/formal" night then what do you wear on cruise casual?

I only ask because khaki's & polo's are what DH & DS's wore on casual nights on the Magic and since we are going on the WONDER in Oct, I want to be sure I pack correctly or I guess not over pack! TIA

This is all a little confusing....:confused3

In Oct, I wore shorts to dinner one night (:scared1: ) and jeans and a t-shirt another (:scared1: :scared1: )

Honestly though, I didn't spend a lot of time worrying about what others wore to dinner. I wore what I was comfortable in and enjoyed my cruise.

:lmao: .......And you lived to tell about it...WOW ...I'm impressed...:worship:

Like others have said wear what you are comfortable in and don't worry about anything else except having a blast on your cruise!:thumbsup2

There is not a formal night on the Wonder. The tux company does not even deliver to the Wonder due to this. It is more of a dress up night.

My question is not so much "dress up" night as the other nights? It seems really casual compared to the Magic from what I am reading? So are people saying anything goes? :confused3

We are by no means a overly formal family but we always seem to fall somewhere comfortably in the middle. So I just want my bases covered. TIA

You can check out the dinner dress recommendations for the Wonder cruises on the navigators. On Dress up night the dress says no tank tops or swimwear permitted in the dining room. Yes, it is much more casual than the Magic.

Other than formal and semi-formal night, I thought the dress recommendations were the same for both ships.

I have not seen the Wonder's initial navigator that goes over the dress code on the first day. The Magic does not list the swimwear/tanktop reference under the dining room schedule every day.

Are coats mandatory for Palo dinner? Not on formal night, just regular dinner. I would like to go and DH has slacks, button up shirt, and tie but no jacket

According to their posted dress code, dress shirt w/out jacket is fine.

There is no formal night on the Wonder. There is a night designated "dress up" night, but frankly, on our B2B February cruises, basically no one dressed up other than for Palo. For cruise casual nights, almost anything seems to go other than swimwear!

The dress code for Palo is a jacket for men.

Palo brunch is cruise casual. Palo dinner is either a jacket or a button down shirt with tie.

I am glad we are cruising with you. :cool1:

It's dress shirt OR jacket at dinner.
