Are food and drinks allowed on the buses?

I always have a drink with me, whether it be water, juice, or soda, and have never had a driver say anything to me. I don't remember taking food on the bus, though, unless it was boxed/bagged leftovers from dinner.

Our ME driver would not let my kids on with their refillable mugs of soda, she made them dump them out and show the cup was empty. Very rudely, I may add, that was what annoyed me. We got there early and were sitting on the bench having our last free refill. She had arrived a half hour early and was very snippy before we even got off the bench.

I would warn against coffee.... I got on a bus one morning with a cup, thinking I would finish it up. I ended up having to stand, and while nothing happened, I was a nervous wreck the entire ride worrying that I was going to spill hot coffee on the kids around me

I've seen people many times with drinks on the bus and nothing was ever said so I can't say what the rule is. Mostly coffee in the morning.

Now to be the grinch who stole drinking on the bus. How hard is it to finish whatever you are eating and or drinking before you get on the bus. It's just basic consideration for others. As we all know buses are usually crowded and sometimes you have to stand risking spilling whatever you have on someone else.

I always behave in my most Disneylike fashion when at WDW, but if someone dumps something on me while I'm on a bus it's going to get ugly. If they are rude enough to carry it on spilling it on me then they will be met with equal rudeness!

We always brought a breakfast bar to the bus stop with us in the mornings. Nothing that would make too much of a mess, like pop tarts, etc. We were never turned away.
