Are Fast Pass machines operating during MNSSHP? How long are waits if not?

Just trying to gage our strategy for the evening. Last year we were a bit put off by how many people were there...but we were there with little ones and concentrated more on the other events rather than the rides that night.

Will we have to wait long for major attractions if the park is crowded?
We would like to take advantage of the special things offered that night as well as hit some big rides. Any advice on what to do?
