Help! We are planning our budget and I am trying to decide if drinks are included on buffet's? :confused3

I can't decide if the DDP is worth it.

drinks are included. Hoop De Dew Review and Spirit of Aloha have some drinks (beer and wine) as part of the meal price.

Great question. Are they also included at Boma? For some reason, I seem to remember paying "extra" for iced tea a few years ago, but I can't remember what I had for breakfast yesterday, so I try not to rely on my memory for too many things.

Drinks such as sodas and lemonade are usually included. Alcohol and beer\wine are usually not included.

Thanks! I am having a hard time deciding if we want to do DDP :confused3 We do not drink alcohol so it is sodas for us.

Whether or not you will save money depends greatly on how you look at it.

If you order moderate to expensive meals on the DDP, you will pay less by using the DDP than if you got the same meals, with all the desserts, and all the snacks, and paid for all that OOP.

However, many people find that if they don't have the DDP, they do not order desserts at every meal, do not go to as expensive a restaurant, order meals that do not cost as much, or get less snacks. As a result, they spend less on food than if they got the DDP.

WDWinfo has sample menus. You can use that to try and figure out what works best for you.

Thanks I have gone through the menus. For some meals I think I am just giving them money.

i.e.

DBS at TH $22
CS an Pizzafari $14
Snack $4
= $40 for a $46 DDP I am giving them $6. Not a ton of money but I do give Disney plenty of money :lmao::lmao:

Now if I figure in my child I am making my $6 back however my DS10 does not eat adult meals. So I am giving them more money.

We have always done the DDP just with the price increase I don't see it worth it. Now if they gave you a choice of appetizer OR dessert :thumbsup2

As I said, it depends on what restaurants you go to and what you order. If you use the TS for breakfast, probably not worth it. If you use the TS for dinner, you have a better chance of saving money with the DDP.
